I would also like to say thank you for providing me with a digital copy of this wonderful book, I am extremely grateful. I would also like to say a huge thank you to the creative genius Laura Besley for writing such a superb and extraordinary little nuggets of gold worthy stories, each with a unique tale to savour and tuck into. I would also like to say thank you for reaching out and inviting me to read and review your book, can I just ask I would love more (lol absolutely no pressure). Intrigued? let’s head to the blurb to find out a bit more.
A man carries his girlfriend in the left-hand breast pocket of his shirt. During World War II, a young soldier searches the houses and barns of the families with whom he grew up. An astronaut wonders whether she can adapt to life back on earth….In her second collection of short fiction , Laura Besley explores a kaleidoscope of emotions through 100 stories of exactly 100 words each…..
Wow, this book has such power and beauty to every word that is written, there are so many stories collected into a slim volume that it feels bigger than it actually is. All these stories have many voices and characters that just jump out at you. I am blown away by the immensity and just awe inspiring creative thinking. To write short stories is not the easiest to begin with, but to write 100 stories and all 100 words is simply stunning, amazing and absolutely genius.
There are so many stories that are just perfect that to choose 1 or two or even three is hard to pick, because there are so many jewels hiding within this book, you don’t want to miss off any of them. Although they are short short stories, there is so much written that has meaning and a lot of detail which encapsulates within them, its like savouring a perfect little tipple at the end of a stressful day, which makes you unwind and relax and soothes you.
All these stories discuss issues and feelings such as love, hate, anxiousness, depression, happiness, the light and the dark, sweetness, joy, sadness and feelings of loneliness and fear which seep from every story. I could not put this book down, I had to read it all. If you love short stories then this little, glorious treasure house will be perfect for you, I cannot recommend this book highly enough ( I also may have purchased a physical copy too because I love it so much ).
Ratings: 5 🌟s withs a large ☕️ and a large 🍰 and maybe some relaxing music to get you soothed and chilled out.

I know this is quite a little post, but I fear if I carried on, I might just end up waffling you all to boredom, and really I can’t have that, not with this fantastic and just brilliant collection. These stories on their own are beautiful put them together in one book and you have a sublime and wonderful book you can go back to time and time again. If you are wanting to get your hands on a copy, you can find this on Bookshop.org & Amazon, but as I have said before you would be helping out a fabulous and brilliant independent publisher by buying directly from them
I will leave you now to say Happy Reading and see you all soon!!!
